This year’s Sigma Symposium is going to take place online, and it will be all about Hacking Nature! On the 14th of April we want to give you an insight into new research that works on hacking nature by challenging the limits of nature, or uses nature as a source of inspiration. The lectures will inform you amongst others about artificial cells and organoids, which are upcoming techniques that model a natural system. But also the limits of nature will be discussed in a lecture about quantum communication, as well as the application of bio-based materials such as in a new material based on spider’s silk and its applications. We will thus present you with new insights into current research, thought-provoking ideas, discussions and a very good (take-away) lunch!
