We have all noticed it, the weather is starting to look better again. Who doesn’t love the sun?! And while a giant ball of flames is not only visually pleasing, the sun can also be very useful. Sunlight can be transformed to some very nice artificial light when converted to electricity using solar cells. On the 17 th of April, John Schermer is going to tell you about solar cells and especially about the ones with a record efficiency using minimal semi-conducting materials as possible. During this lunchlecture you will be able to get some energy yourself by eating some of our delicious and very free lunch.
